How to Interpret a Chakra Lunar Forecast
As a generation that has a desire to plan with our Google calendars pulled up on every device, having tips that help us navigate through the not-so-good days and plan for our most productive days would be valuable, wouldn’t it?
Introducing The Chakra Lunar Forecast. It’s a monthly guide to days when certain chakras are stronger and more productive based on the phases of the moon and the influence of the astrological zodiac. It can be used to plan your calendar so you can show up, plan, create, and passionately pursue what you are meant to without a struggle. And you can even plan for days when you may not feel like getting a lot done and your time would be better spent tapping into the power of your imagination, doing some planning, or taking time for well-deserved self-care.
You probably already know there are days when you’re ready to tackle new projects, get things done, and move forward with ease and days when you find it difficult just getting out of bed. Well, what if you knew about these days ahead of time? You could plan your schedule maximizing your productive days and cut yourself some slack on the days when you want to lay around the house in your pj’s.
In this post, we’re going to dig into the concept of pairing the energy of each phase of the lunar cycle with the corresponding chakras and use the subtle energy to our advantage. I’ll walk through interpreting a monthly chakra lunar forecast so you have a better understanding of what working with the natural cycles and the chakras can really tell us. I’ll break it down step by step to make it easy for you.
MEET THE CHAKRA LUNAR FORECAST CHART
Every month the moon goes through eight phases depending on the amount of illumination on its surface. Each phase is influenced by the moon’s place in the zodiac and gives off different subtle energies which affect the energy of the chakras. In the monthly chakra lunar forecast, the days when chakras are predicted to be their strongest are indicated as well as the most productive days. What this means is that if you tap into the energy of a chakra on a day when it is naturally prominent, the expression of the consciousness of that chakra will be easier for you. If the prominent chakra is blocked on a day when it is strong, you will notice struggle and be able to do something about it.
CHAKRA KEY
A basic requirement of every graph is that there is a key or legend that explains the symbols used. On the Chakra Lunar Forecast, there are two keys. The first clarifies the lines for each of the seven chakras and the other key explains the productivity potential.
CHAKRA STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
The stronger the effect a chakra has on any given day the higher the line on the chart. And conversely, the lower the influence of a chakra on any given day, the lower the line. One thing to note is that ALL the chakras are active ALL the time so just because a chakra’s natural influence is low does not mean it isn’t active. If a chakra is blocked on a day when its influence is strong you may feel different impacts arising.
The Monthly Chakra Lunar Forecast includes interpretations of the chart. For example, in the August chart above, the sacral chakra is strong on Aug 6 then decreases on Aug 7-8 only to rise again on Aug 10. That means that Aug 6 and Aug 10-12 could be good days to plan creative endeavors, self-nourishment activities, and other pleasurable ones that activate your vitality.
The throat chakra energy is lower before Aug 10 but begins to have an impact on Aug 12. Therefore, anything involving communication and listening may be a bit of a struggle before Aug 12. If you’re wanting to clearly get your point across or do a presentation Aug 12 would be a good day for it.
PRODUCTIVITY PHASES
Another thing to consider is how productive a chakra can be on any given day. To simplify, I’ve broken down chakra productivity into three phases: neutral phase, productive phase, and most productive phase.
‘NEUTRAL’ PRODUCTIVITY
Days that fall under the neutral productivity designation on the chakra lunar chart are not days to take advantage of the lunar-zodiac energy even though chakras may be strong. In the example above, the heart and solar plexus chakras are strong on Aug 7 and 8 but the productivity level is neutral which means that you can push ahead and try to get things done and/or enhance your connections to others but it may take more effort than if you did it on a day when the lunar-zodiac energies were naturally in your favor.
‘PRODUCTIVE’ PRODUCTIVITY
Days designated as productive on the chakra lunar chart are good days to schedule activities involving the strong chakras. On the August chart above, the sacral chakra is strong from Aug 11-13 which means that these are productive days to do something creative, nurture yourself, or act on desires as the natural cycles are supporting these activities.
‘MOST PRODUCTIVE’ PRODUCTIVITY
Days that are designated as most productive on the chakra lunar forecast chart are the ones you can really take advantage of. These are days when the lunar energy, zodiac energy, and chakra energy are all in alignment. Any task you undertake on these days to support the stronger chakras will be easy and give you the best results. On the August chart above, the most productive days are Aug 5 and Aug 14. The strong chakras on Aug 5 are the sacral and heart chakras with the moon being in Cancer which means that it is a good day for relationships and pleasurable activities. On Aug 14 the sacral chakra is strong, and the third eye chakra energy is rising so it would likely be a good day to trust your instincts and do things to tap into your desires.
LUNAR PHASE
The lunar phase that impacts the chakras can be found on the chart right under the productivity designation. I’ve included the 8 moon phases: new moon, waxing crescent, first quarter, waxing gibbous, full moon, waning gibbous, third quarter, and waning crescent. Interpretations of the effects of the lunar phases can be found in the full Monthly Chakra Lunar Forecast.
ZODIAC SIGN INFLUENCE
The astrological zodiac influence on the moon and chakras can be found on the chart right under the lunar phase. I’ve included the 12 zodiac signs: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. Interpretations of the effects of the zodiac signs can be found in the full Monthly Chakra Lunar Forecast.
SEE? THE CHAKRA LUNAR FORECAST CAN BE HELPFUL
Even though we cannot possibly predict all the ways we’re going to react to the zodiac sign influences on the phases of the moon, and on the chakras, we can look at data and make based predictions on patterns observed in previous months. I ask that you approach the chakra lunar forecast with an open mind and be open to all the ways it can be used in your life.
